CNU | Lifestyle Session | Dalia
I have always been intrigued by the strength, grace and poise of dancers. When Dalia contacted me for an updated dancers' profile and lifestyle session, I leaped with excitement! Wanting a more simplistic setting, we chose CNU's Ferguson center, and part of the campus for a clean and fresh backdrop.
Dalia started dancing when she was 3 years old. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She also has a love for Musical Theater! We actually jammed out to the sounds of Motown during her session!
She teaches competitive dance and loves to share her knowledge and passion with her students.
Here are a few of my favorites from our time together:
"I love dance because it helps me breathe...I do mean that in the literal sense of the word. WE don't normally think about inhaling or exhaling on a constant basis because it's natural to us. Dancing is just as natural as breathing for me. Without it, my heart would not beat the same way. "
